Reference Vantive Case # 938682 ; Customer using Unity Pro v2.1
Goals and Symptoms
The purpose of this resolution is to inform the user on the expected range of time delay between the moment of event and the start of deceleration after a G10 command (Stop on event detection) is issued, when using a TSXCFY11, Premium Stepper module.
Causes and Fixes
The approximate processing times of the different steps are given below :
1. Reading of TSX CFY I/O: T1= 95µs
2. Reference point cam and event ton/ toff : T2 < 250 µs
3. The Cycle time of the module :T3= 10ms.
So, the expected range of time delay between the moment of event and the start of deceleration is :
T = T1 + T2 + (2 x T3) = 20.19ms (approximate)
