I am monitoring Ethernet Link Status in my Quantum NOE using MSTR Get Local Statistics but it is not displayed properly. Why?

MSTR Get Local Statistics performs a byte swap for the high order byte/low order byte after implied word 3. Link status is the 4th implied word (words 0, 1, and 2 are the 6 byte MAC address which are displayed normally). Because the high order byte and low order byte are swapped, the actual status is viewed as follows:
High order byte Low order byte

Bit position 16 15 14 13 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1

With a byte swap, the Link Status is bit 7 of word 3. Therefore, check the status on the 4th implied word at bit position 15 for Link Status. A value of 0 indicates no Link, a value of 1 indicates a healthy Ethernet Link.
