Yes, one can increase the 3A of available bus current provided by the 140CRA21x10 drop module.
In applications where the DIO Adapter's internal power supply ( rated at 3A) does not have enough power for the number of modules or the amount of power required, users can install a Quantum Standalone or Summable power supply to allow for up to 11A of bus current.
To use this configuration the user must render the internal supply for the DIO Adapter unpowered by removing the connection to the module's input. Also, the added power supply must NOT be added to the system I/O Map.
