A ATV58FHU90N4 applied for a tension control application. The 3 phase current at output side is at balance( 6.96A, 6.99A, 6.99A). However, its current at input side is not in balance(4.0A, 4.0A, 4.7A). The input voltage for ATV58FHU90N4 is in balance. The customer put a line choke in front of this ATV58FHU90N4. Why the input current is not in balance? - - -> The ATV58FHU90N4 is a new and good drive. For a long term consideration, will this unbalance input current destroy diode bridge of ATV58F?

Causes and Fixes

Possible reasons for unbalance :

- bad connections
- line impedance
- transfomer coupling
- IT neutral

For a long terme there is no problem for the inverter.
