Goals and Symptoms
We have a costumer in Spain that uses 300 drives a year, in the 40% of his applications he needs a special function that today we don't have for the ATV31, but perhaps it's easy to implement.
The costumer is buying Fuji for all his applications and the power of te drives he is sing is between 0,75kw (M2) and 3kw (N4).
He has a diposition to change if we give the solution, (we can do it with ATV58 and multiparametres card but the problem for this solution is the price.
The function he needs is the next one:
Two sense of runing.
For the forward he wants to regulate the speed between 0 and 50Hz with the potenciometer.
For the reverse he wants a preselected speed at 100Hz.
I know he can do that with external elements but he has the function with Fuji and he wants not to put external things.
Please can you see the possibilities to implement this function?
Causes and Fixes
I made some tests and it run without any software modification, following these parameters ( after a factory setting , it's better ).
- Affect 100 Hz to HSP ( Menu SEt )
- Affect 100 Hz to tFr ( Menu drC )
- Affect LI2 to PS2 ( Menu FUn )
- Affect 100 Hz to SP2 ( Menu FUn )
The only solvable problem : with AI1 you can set 100 Hz to the speed reference.
Solution : limit AI1 to 5v with a resistor ( about 1,1 kOhm ) in serial with the potentiometer and the +10v; you can also use a lockable potentiometer.
