No. The cable cannot be spliced. However, you can install a tap (P/N MA-0185-100) onto the trunk cable and terminate the unused drop port with a Tap Port Terminator (P/N 52-0402-000). Remember that the tap has a 0.8 dB insertion loss in the RI/O signal.
