The Thu Thiem Power Company (Vietnam) implemented a decentralized, self-healing Smart Grid solution to ensure reliable electricity to the Saigon High Tech Park, an important industrial zone where over 40 high-tech companies (including an Intel factory) do business. In the event of a fault, the grid can now reenergize in less than 30 seconds. The company was able to modernize the two strategic MV loops for the high tech park cost-effectively in only 3 months, without needing to deploy a new distribution management system (DMS).
