The Ruiping Power Plant, a Chinese electricity supplier in Henan province, has been able to save 27 million kW per year of direct electricity and reduce its standard coal CO2 emissions by 20,265 tons by leveraging an integrated energy management system based on the EcoStruxure platform. Says the plant’s general manager, “[EcoStruxure] integrate[s] several energy saving technologies and synergize[s] the effects. . . . We not only track the energy saving effects, but also manage our entire energy consumption situation.” The overall benefit for the Ruiping Power Plant is $2,176,300 per year.
