    • LV ShoreBoX™ Port of Bergen

      ShoreBoX™ will be used at the port to supply offshore supply vessels (OSVs) which service offshore platforms in the North Sea. By implementing the ShoreBoX™ solution from Schneider Electric, the port of Bergen is expecting to cut the emissions created by OSV vessels at berth allowing them to be fully compliant with the requirements of Norway’s Emission Control Area (ECA) as defined by MARPOL 6.

      Marine Global was commissioned to install the onboard shore connection system as a turnkey project. The extensive project included Schneider Electric’s interface to shore grid, high-voltage transformer, flex-cable management systems, hull openings for flex cables, transformer room, high voltage switchgear, connection to the ferries’ power network and synchronization, alarm equipment and others.
