SECRET (2011 − 2012)

The 2-year SECRET (Security of Critical Elements for the Electrical Networks) research project for critical infrastructures, such as control and metering systems, aimed to:
- Develop advanced technologies to boost system-level protection.
- Analyze security standards and recommendations to improve device-level protection.

Funded by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Tourism under the Avanza Competitividad subprogram (TSI-020100-2011-152), the project had a budget of €1.34M.

Partners: Telvent Energía, S21sec, ZIV, AT4 wireless, and University of Málaga.
